Art History Research: Pablo Picasso
Pablo Picasso started out painting and drawing at an early age. By age 13, he had his first exhibition in La Coruña. As the years went by, Picasso traveled back and forth from Spain to Paris. He was drawn to the myriad of colors and styles found in Paris but stuck close to the monochromatic colors of the Spanish palette. In the spring of 1904 Picasso decided to move permanently to Paris. Pablo Picasso created many famous paintings in his life like the Les Demoiselles d'Avignon and Absinthe Glass. In his middle ages, Picasso turned to ceramics and sculpture. Many critics didn't care much for his ceramic pieces and considered them somewhat frivolous and useless. Pablo Picasso Ruiz died on April 8, 1973 in Mougins, France.
